Invited Clubs in Philadelphia is seeking a Cook 1 to join a hospitality-focused team. You’ll set up and prep at your station, support Cook 2/3, and help maintain standards of food quality, safety, and presentation for members and guests.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and reliability. You’ll work under the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef, with opportunities to grow your culinary skills in a dynamic club environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of kitchen experience.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state/city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize workstation for daily service.
• Prepare and store all food items for the station while adhering to standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of menu items.
• Receive and store goods as requested.
• Manage condiments, dressings, sauces, and soups.
• Keep work area and kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with Chef regarding product needs or issues.
• Interact professionally with members and guests; accommodate requests.
• Support team and deliver the 3 steps of service.
• Address member/guest complaints professionally and assist management.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
• Attend daily briefings and wear a clean uniform.
