Job summary

Cooper’s Hawk Winery is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prep ingredients, follow recipes, and help maintain a clean, efficient station to ensure consistent cooking and service.

Expect to handle fresh foods, assist with sauces, portioning, and quality control while working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Applicants should be able to stand long hours and pass food-safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and prior prep or line cook experience preferred.
• Basic knife skills and knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes and portioning guidance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and follow recipes with accuracy.
• Set up and organize your station to stay efficient through every shift.
• Maintain high quality standards in prep and execution.
• Keep work area clean, stocked, and safe while handling ingredients with care.
• Wash, peel, slice, and mix vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients for salads, cold plates, and garnishes.
• Prepare hot and cold sauces and carve and slice meats and cheeses.
• Portion food for service and follow daily systems and procedures.
