Job summary

Job description

Prep cooks are an essential part of our restaurants because it is where all the flavor is created. Our commitment to Fresh, Authentic and Bold (FAB) flavors starts with our cooks following the recipes and preparation standards for all menu items, while complying with industry food safety standards.

Prep cooks must possess a general knowledge of kitchen equipment and small wares. Must be able to understand and carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions independently. Prep cooks are required to work a variety of shifts that could include weekends, holidays, morning, and night shifts.

Requirements
  • Responsible for following protocol for the flow of foods
  • Must uphold sanitation and safety standards
  • Follow prep logs/sheets daily, not over or under producing items.
  • Communicate equipment, small-wares, inventory, and production issues with manager on duty.
  • Clean and sanitize food storage areas weekly (cooler, shelves, bins etc.)
  • At least 1 year of restaurant prep experience (preferred)
  • Reliable transportation
