Job summary

Ford's Garage is seeking a Prep Cook (Heart of House Hero) to join our team in Cape Coral. You will prepare a variety of foods to our recipes, safeguard quality, and help keep the kitchen stocked and organized to support smooth service.

The role emphasizes food safety, cleanliness, and efficient prep, with a collaborative team culture and opportunities for growth within a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food safety certification or any other food/alcohol certification, as required by state law.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring our guests have an unbeatable experience with the highest quality preparation and presentation of our food products with the utmost recipe adherence
• Supporting the success of the Heart of house by ensuring menu items are stocked and prepped according to food safety and recipe standards.
• Maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout all food preparation areas
• Being aware of and abiding by all food safety practices.
