Job summary

Ford's Garage is hiring a Prep Cook to join our Heart of House team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will prepare a variety of dishes to our recipes, ensure quality and presentation, and help maintain stock and cleanliness according to safety standards.

The role requires English literacy, physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work with a team in a high-energy setting. Full-time positions available with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food safety certification as required by state law.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Minimum Qualifications (with or without accommodation)

• Supporting the success of the Heart of house by ensuring menu items are stocked and prepped according to food safety and recipe standards.
• Maintaining highest standards of cleanliness and organization throughout all food preparation areas
• Being aware of and abiding by all food safety practices.
