Job summary

Ford's Garage in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Line Cook (Heart of House Hero) to prep ingredients and assemble dishes following our recipes and specifications. You will join a fun, fast-paced team that prides itself on delivering an unbeatable guest experience.

Experience in high-volume kitchens is preferred; ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds is required. English fluency, reliable transportation, and a valid state food/alcohol certification may be needed.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience required, preferably in a high-volume atmosphere.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid food/alcohol certification, as required by state law.
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and accurate communication.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring our guests have an unbeatable experience with the highest quality preparation and presentation of our food products with the utmost recipe adherence
• Preparing guest orders accurately in a timely manner
• Supporting the success of the Heart of house through proper food preparation and stock levels
• Maintaining highest standards of cleanliness throughout all food preparation areas
