Delaware North’s Patina Group is seeking part-time Prep Cooks to join our team at Hencraft at Hub Hall in Boston, Massachusetts. You will prepare food items, support guest experiences, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As a Prep Cook, you will measure, portion, and prepare ingredients per recipes, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety standards. Weekly pay, training opportunities, employee discounts, and flexible schedules are offered.

Formación

• Prior food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets.
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment).
• Ability to follow instructions.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieve storage items as needed and measure, portion, and prepare food items while meeting all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and production needs.
• Bread and prepare chicken products following established recipes and food safety standards.
• Prepare fresh slaws, sides, vegetables, and other menu accompaniments daily.
• Prepare house-made sauces, dressings, and condiments according to recipe specifications.
• Communicate with the Chef regarding special instructions, recipe updates, and training needs.
• Maintain food products, utensils, workstations, and equipment in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned and according to established procedures.
• Follow all safety, security, kitchen, and ServSafe procedures while upholding health code and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory organization, stock rotation, labeling, and proper food storage practices.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and consistent food quality.

More about you

• Prior food preparation experience preferred.

Physical requirements

• Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of the shift.
• Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids.
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders.
• Ability to frequently immerse hands in water.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
