Prep Cook

Pay: Hourly, starting at $16 and up (dependent on experience and location, will be discussed in the interview)

We are looking for a dedicated prep cook responsible for setting up workstations, preparing ingredients, and supporting culinary tasks. The role requires understanding food safety, being quick and diligent, and following instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up and sanitizing workstations
  • Following prep lists created by chefs
  • Measuring ingredients and preparing cooking ingredients
  • Preparing simple dishes such as entrees or salads
  • Properly storing food items
  • Assisting chefs and attending to culinary tasks
  • Distributing plates, cleaning, and preparing takeaway packages
  • Monitoring food and storage temperatures
  • Accepting or rejecting ingredients from suppliers
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen
Requirements
  • Ability to work standing for at least 4 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in food preparation and kitchen sanitation is preferred but not required.
