We are currently hiring for experienced FT/PT(not seasonal) Prep Chefs for our new location in Orange, CT.

Prep Chef (Prep Cook)

We are looking for a full-time Prep Chef to join our growing team. If you appreciate a focused, manageable environment where you can lock into your work, stay on top of your prep list, focus on quality, contribute to a smooth daily operation and work at a sustainable pace, this is the spot for you.

What You’ll Do (Your Day-to-Day)

• Master the Prep List: Crush your daily prep sheet, slicing, dicing, and chopping your way to kitchen glory.
• Fuel the Assembly: Portion ingredients, build delicious dressings, and make sure everything is perfectly stocked for service.
• Keep It Fresh: Wrap, label, date, and organize ingredients like a pro using the FIFO method.
• Own Your Station: Maintain a clean, safe, and spotless workspace because a clean kitchen is a happy kitchen.
• Team Up: Work closely with the rest of the kitchen crew to keep operations running smoothly.

• Knife Savvy: You know your way around a chef's knife and can slice and dice safely, quickly, and precisely.
• Detail-Oriented: You take pride in matching recipe specs and portion sizes every single time.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 18 years old (gotta be legal for the heavy machinery!).
• Ready to rock a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous kitchen, quick-service, or line cook experience is a huge plus (ServSafe certification is icing on the cake!).
• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Able to chat in English for team teamwork and safety instructions.
• Ready to stand, walk, lift up to 40 lbs, and thrive in an upbeat, fast-moving environment.
