Job summary

SCA Health in Clinton Charter Township, MI seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for PreOp/PACU to provide perioperative care. You will assess patients, monitor recovery, and collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure safety and comfort.

Candidates must be a Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, hold active state licensure, and maintain BLS/BCLS; ACLS (PALS if pediatric care is included) within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Current state licensure to practice with good standing.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility policies.
• Interpret information from monitors and participate in recovery care planning.
• Develop and implement an individualized perianesthesia plan of care.
• Provide hand‑off reports and collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams.
