Job summary

Health Wealth Safe, Inc. seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care unit. You will provide age-specific nursing care, assess patients, and develop individualized care plans while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current RN licensure, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. ACLS/PALS certification and BSN are preferred, with opportunities in a busy perioperative setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Basic computer proficiency and strong customer service skills.
• Preferred: BSN, ACLS/PALS certifications, acute or specialized care experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized, age-specific nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, and safety needs at admission and hourly thereafter.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans for effectiveness.
• Administering and ensuring orders are followed as prescribed.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in hourly rounding, and serving as shift supervisor when needed.
• Observing safety protocols and ensuring quality patient care.
• Delegating tasks and directing healthcare staff with sound judgment.
