Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for PreOp PACU to assess patients’ status and manage perioperative care across the recovery continuum. You will monitor vital signs, interpret monitors, and coordinate post-anesthesia plans in alignment with facility policies.

Ideal candidates hold an Accredited RN degree, active licensure, and BLS/BCLS; ACLS is required within 90 days, with PALS if pediatric care is in scope. This role supports a patient‑centered, quality‑driven recovery team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Current state licensure to practice within good standing; BLS/BCLS.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment; PALS if pediatric care included.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per policies.
• Interpret information from monitors and describe pathophysiology.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care and implement it.
• Provide hand‑off reports and education to patients and families.
• Perform all duties required for perioperative patient care and safety.
