Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensure as RN in Texas; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during stay; notify changes to the physician.
• Design, direct, evaluate and document the plan of care and discharge planning with patient/family education.
• Prepare patients for procedures; ensure safety and report changes to Charge Nurse/Team Leader.
• Reassess patients and modify care as needed; communicate with physicians.
• Provide bedside shift reports with family participation to ensure continuity of care.
