Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assessment and ongoing assessment of patient condition; provide nursing care to meet physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
• Plan of care design, documentation, patient/family teaching, and discharge planning.
• Prepare patients for treatments and procedures; report changes to charge nurse/physician; ensure patient safety and medication practices.
• Reassess patients after interventions and communicate with physicians as needed.
• Bedside shift report and comprehensive handoffs to oncoming staff.
