Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Scheduling Associate for the Prenatal Diagnostic Center in Omaha. You will complete complex scheduling for patient appointments and services, while providing clerical support and coordinating with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow and care.

Responsibilities include facilitating referrals, ensuring consult notes reach the referring provider, and maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction and efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year post-secondary education in business, medical assistant or nursing assistant programs, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing and organizational skills.
• Ability to work proactively and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service to physicians, patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete complex scheduling of multiple appointments for one patient and related services.
• Provide clerical scheduling support for procedures and coordination with providers.
• Facilitate internal and external referrals and ensure consult notes and attendances are documented.
