Happier Grocery in New York City is seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our culinary team. You will prepare sushi, sashimi, rolls, and related items, ensuring peak freshness and presentation while adhering to food safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a high-volume environment, excellent knife skills, and a passion for hospitality. This role is in-person with competitive hourly pay and benefits including health and commuter options.

• 3+ years of experience in a high-volume environment
• Experience handling raw seafood safely
• Strong knife skills and sushi techniques
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Mansioni

• Sushi Preparation: prepare sushi, sashimi, rolls, poke, and other items per recipes and standards
