Job summary

TowneBank is seeking a friendly Teller to serve members in our branch with precision and courtesy. You will handle monetary transactions, balance cash drawers daily, and process check cashing in line with AML/BSA guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of cash handling and customer service, proficiency in Outlook/Excel/Word, and a team-oriented mindset. Strong communication and dependability are essential for providing exquisite service in person, by phone, or by email.

Qualifications

• One year cash handling and customer service experience with a single employer or six months bank teller experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word and other Microsoft applications; bank software experience is a plus.
• Flexibility to learn new systems and processes; ability to balance cash drawer daily.
• Proven ability to provide excellent member service in person, on the phone, and by email.

Responsibilities

• Handles monetary transactions for members and enters them in the Bank’s software programs and provides receipts.
• Follows the Bank’s security guidelines daily.
• Reviews member accounts to make decisions on requested transactions.
• Accurately keeps cash drawer in balance daily.
• Promotes TowneBank and its products and services.
• Provides exquisite service to members in person, on the phone or by email.
