Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Revere, MA is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team. You will cut, grind, wrap and label fresh and prepared meats to BJ’s standards, assist in seafood and deli areas, and help maintain a clean, safe meat department.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with weekly pay, generous PTO, competitive benefits, and opportunities to grow. Must complete a training program or apprenticeship and have prior meat cutting experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship is required.
• Experience in meat cutting and wrapping machines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages in cutting, grinding, wrapping, and labeling fresh meats to company standards.
• Rotates and merchandises meat, poultry, seafood, and deli products.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
• Receives, inspects, stores and stocks meat products; disposes of expired items per guidelines.
• Assists in other departments as needed and ensures full attendance.
