Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year interior design experience.
• Design-related bachelor’s degree desirable.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and sales techniques.
• Solid listening and communication abilities.
• Proficiency with online sales and design tools; social media savvy.
• Valid driver’s license for client visits.
• Experience with 3-D planning tools and visualization (AR/VR a plus).
• Willingness to adopt new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions aligned with customer preferences and budget.
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services to clients.
• Greet customers, secure appointments, and conduct in-home consultations.
• Use social media to develop and grow the business.
• Educate clients on Ethan Allen design services and options.
• Stay current on design trends and color palettes.
• Coordinate with team to deliver exceptional service before and after sale.
• Participate in corporate marketing and training programs.
• Enter orders in the POS system.
• Utilize technology to build project presentations and client relationships.

Education

High School Diploma

Interior design experience
