Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• One year of interior design experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a design-related field is desirable.
• Broad knowledge of interior design and effective sales techniques.
• Strong working knowledge of online sales and design tools.
• Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills.
• Experience using social media and grass-roots marketing to build a book of business.
• Valid driver’s license for customer visits and orders.

Responsibilities

• Create design solutions aligned with customer preferences and budgets.
• Sell Ethan Allen products and services and represent the brand in all interactions.
• Greet customers, obtain appointments, and conduct in-home consultations to close sales.
• Utilize social media to grow the business and engage with clients.
• Educate customers on complimentary design services and options.
• Stay current on design trends and color concepts.
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely order status updates and post-sale service.
• Participate in corporate marketing and training programs.
• Use technology to design projects, create presentations, and assist clients.
• Enter orders using the retail POS system.
