Pacific Hospitality Group in the United States is seeking a friendly Server to welcome guests, present beverages and menu items, suggest wine pairings, and ensure an exceptional dining experience.

You will enter orders into a POS system, handle payments, keep areas clean, and coordinate with kitchen staff. Must meet health and safety standards, maintain professionalism, and work flexible schedules including holidays.

Formación

• One year food service experience, preferably in a hotel/resort environment.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• General knowledge of wine, beer, liquors, waters and drinks served.
• Ability to interact with guests face-to-face and use discretion in conversations.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to learn and use POS computer systems used at the hotel.
• Strong attention to detail, organized and able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English to follow instructions and communicate with guests.
• Work schedules may include holidays, weekends and alternate shifts.
• Must be at least 18 and complete RBS certification; have a Food Handler Card within 30 days.
• Knowledge of health standards and laws regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons.

Responsabilidades

• Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting menu, suggesting courses, and answering questions.
• Enters orders into POS system and records guests’ choices and dietary needs.
• Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
• Processes guest payments and balances payment methods to sales report.
• Maintains cleanliness of work areas and keeps area stocked.
• Prepares room for dining by setting tables and decorations.
• Follows standard food handling, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Completes side work before, during and after shift.
• Provides guests a high-level dining experience with professional demeanor.
• Notifies management of unsafe conditions, maintenance needs, and any accidents.
• Resolves guest complaints within authority; informs supervisor of unusual events.
