Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a server to greet guests, take and process food and beverage orders, and ensure accuracy with substitutions. You will be knowledgeable about menu items and dietary considerations while assisting other servers and maintaining a clean, well-stocked station.

This role requires reliability, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment. Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, handling payments, and reporting equipment or supply needs.

Qualifications

• High school equivalent education is required.
• Experience in hotels, banquets, or events is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, vendors, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet the guest and take all food and beverage orders.
• Ensure all orders are accurate with requests and substitutions.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items with ingredients related to dietary restrictions.
• Pre and post bus tables in assigned station.
• Receive payments accurately and timely.
• Perform opening/closing and side work duties.
• Prepare food items for guests, including appetizers, sides and desserts.
• Assist other servers with their tables.
• Ensure equipment is in good operating order and supplies are stocked.
• Report equipment needing repair or supplies needing ordering.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of station and service areas.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards, SOPs, and safety standards.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as a team.
• Follow policies and strive to improve standards of operations.
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
• Follow additional duties as assigned by management.
