Job summary

The Standard is seeking a PHS Billing Analyst II in Portland, OR to manage premium billing transactions and to support automated billing solutions with advanced Excel and VBA programming. The role requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.

You will design data transfers, audit billing data, and drive process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years accounting/financial experience.
• 3 years customer service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel with VBA macros.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Word, OneNote and PowerPoint.
• Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage premium billing transactions including adjustments, invoices, deductions, reversals, and monthly cycles.
• Develop and automate Excel-based tools and VBA macros to improve efficiency.
• Analyze and resolve complex billing discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Design and monitor data integrations between Excel and external systems.
• Audit, reconcile billing data, and recommend process improvements.
