Job summary

Oak View Group in Enid, OK is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver professional, fine-dining level service at events. You will assist with setup, serve courses, and maintain cleanliness, ensuring guest satisfaction and a positive venue impression.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of event/banquet experience, physical ability to lift and carry, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Part-time benefits include 401(k) savings and matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be substituted.
• 6 months to 1 year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often; carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Must be punctual with consistent attendance.
• Respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands banquet event orders.
• Provides fine-dining-level food and beverage service to guests for all events.
• Initiates and maintains friendly and professional contact with guests.
• Setup and maintain food and beverage stations in various locations.
• Maintain an inventory for both food and beverage stations.
• Maintain all event areas and front-of-house staging areas.
• Participate in setup and cleanup of service items.
• Work independently during slower times.
• Create a safe and clean work environment.
• Interact with patrons professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
