Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to deliver fine-dining level service for events at our Pueblo, Colorado venues. You will read banquet event orders, set up stations, and ensure guest satisfaction with professional, efficient service.

Responsibilities include maintaining stations, coordinating with kitchen and event staff, and keeping areas tidy. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required; prior banquet/restaurant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year of work experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects often. Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands banquet event orders.
• Provides fine-dining-level food and beverage service to guests for all events, consistent with standards of service.
• Initiates and maintains friendly and professional contact with guests, ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
• Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with standards of service.
• Maintain an inventory for both food and beverage stations.
• Maintain all event areas and front-of-house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
• Participate in both the setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
• Works independently during slower times.
• Perform safe work by helping to create a safe and clean work environment.
• Has a high level of social contact and deals often with patrons.
• Ensures that work is accurate and complete.
• Maintains a customer-focused, positive, and professional attitude.
