Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan is seeking an Audit Support professional to schedule audits, triage inquiries, and process mail audits. The role supports Premium Auditors and coordinates with internal teams to ensure accurate tax records and class code assignments.

Qualifications

• 12 credit hours in Accounting, Business, Insurance, Finance or related field.
• Progress toward or completion of Insurance Institute of America (IIA) or other insurance-related designation such as APA or CPCU.

Responsibilities

• Schedule audit appointments for Premium Auditors.
• Triages and routes department phone inquiries and provides direct customer service.
• Handle mail audit processing by reviewing tax records and documents.
• Estimate audits and generate audit invoices when required.
• Explain policy changes impacting payroll, class codes, entities, and addresses.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform general administrative duties.
