Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support Premium Audit operations in a multi-functional unit. You will manage the OnBase queue, schedule audits, estimate audits, and handle mail audit processing for a Michigan/state-based team.

The role involves triaging inbound calls, responding to inquiries, and providing accurate information to internal and external customers, including consultants and policyholders. Strong data entry and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 credit hours of coursework in Accounting, Business, Insurance, Finance or related field and progress towards or completion of Insurance Institute of America (IIA) or other insurance-related designation(s) such as an Associate in Premium Audit (APA) or CPCU.
• Experience with payrolls, bookkeeping or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Premium Technician Review OnBase queue tasks and assign audit disputes and follow-up requests.
• Department phone triage tasks and route inquiries to the appropriate person; provide direct customer service.
• Schedule audit appointments for Premium Auditors and estimate audits.
• Mail audit processing including review of tax records to verify exposure for the audit report.
• Communicate policy changes resulting from audit findings and maintain confidentiality.
