Job summary

Ventana Canyon Golf & Racquet Club in Tucson invites an experienced Bartender to deliver top-tier service to members and guests, upholding standards and hospitality.

You'll manage inventory, handle cash, operate the POS, and support events and banquets while complying with liquor laws and safety procedures.

This on-site role requires English fluency, physical stamina, and a team-focused attitude in a desert resort setting.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
• Fluent in English; bilingual preferred.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operate manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Stand for 95% of shift; lift 25–50 lbs; reach, bend, twist, stoop as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory control through careful use and monitoring of all food and beverage products.
• Reviews banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs provided by management.
• Communicates guest requests to the department manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties: inventory, cash control, cleaning, restocking.
• Stocks bar, mixes and serves beverages; assists in cost control and inventory records.
• Accounts for checks and cash transactions; uses Point of Sale System.
• Serves catered parties from service or portable bars; may serve meals to guests.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Flexible to take on new tasks as directed by the department manager.
