Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Restaurant Bartender to craft beverages and provide engaging guest experiences in a luxury resort setting. You will create cocktails, wine pairings, and non-alcoholic options while maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere.

Responsibilities include serving guests, following recipes, ensuring quality, and coordinating with servers and culinary staff to support smooth service. Flexibility for varying shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Previous food and beverage experience; bartending experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, beer and wine offerings, and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages following recipes and guest preferences.
• Recommend cocktails, wine, or pairings based on guest interests.
• Ensure beverages meet quality and presentation standards.
• Greet guests warmly and provide personalized, attentive service.
• Take drink orders from guests and servers accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible service practices.
• Set up and break down the bar, ensuring supplies, equipment, and garnishes are ready for service.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar, including glassware, surfaces, tools, and waste areas.
• Track inventory levels and report shortages to leadership.
• Adhere to all state and local alcohol service regulations.
• Coordinate with servers, barbacks, and culinary teams for smooth operations.

Your Qualifications Include:

Preferred:

• TIPS or similar alcohol-service certification
• Hotel or upscale restaurant experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
