Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks a Preferred Relationship Manager in Sterling Heights, MI. You will acquire, grow, and retain Preferred Program customers, using a consultative sales process to meet financial needs and referrals across the team.

You will work with financial partners to expand wealth management opportunities, while maintaining compliance and delivering superior customer experiences. Travel to local FCs may be required.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience in a sales environment; experience in financial industry.
• Series SIE, 6, 63 and insurance licenses required.
• Series 65 must be obtained within 90 calendar days of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a revenue-producing book of business in the mass affluent segment.
• Position involves public contact and presenting a professional image.
• Role may involve local travel to one or more FCs.
• SAFE Act registration required at employment through NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Execute retail strategies to increase Preferred Program households and revenue.
• Build deep relationships with customers as a trusted advisor.
• Explain complex financial concepts clearly to clients.
• Support sales and motivational activities in the financial center.
• Guide the FC team in referrals and sales for Preferred customers.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services and stay up to date.
• Meet or exceed investment sales and referral goals.
• Proactively contact customers and prospects via multiple channels.
• Monitor industry trends to anticipate client needs and offer solutions.
