Job summary

Southland Industries seeks a Manager of Preconstruction Solutions to lead the improvement and standardization of estimating tools and processes. You will work with estimating and preconstruction teams, divisional leadership, and BLS partners to ensure tools support how work is pursued and won, with travel to divisional offices required.

You will guide adoption, define practical workflows, and oversee tool rollout across trades, including AI-driven tools when valuable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction, engineering, IT.
• 5+ years in preconstruction, estimating technologies, or related roles.
• Experience with estimating, takeoff, and bid management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardization and rollout of estimating tools and processes across divisions.
• Collaborate with estimating teams, divisional leadership, and BLS partners.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Travel to divisional offices to support adoption and training.
• Develop clear documentation and training for tools and workflows.
