Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a proactive Preconstruction Project Manager to bridge engineering design and construction across industrial and commercial facilities. You will coordinate design, procurement and construction teams, lead planning efforts, and ensure on-time, on-budget project execution with travel across North America.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of project management experience, and strong communication and 3D modeling skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience managing construction projects in industrial/commercial facilities.
• Experience with 3D modelling software and field construction.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience optimizing construction scheduling and sequencing.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction planning, bid package development, scheduling, estimating and reporting.
• Contribute to design constructability reviews and sequencing plans.
• Drive collaboration among stakeholders and manage client interface.
• Lead planning efforts with design, procurement and construction teams.
• Develop risk registers and mitigation plans for projects.
• Coordinate with safety, quality, and project services groups.
