Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking an Assistant Preconstruction Manager to support the preconstruction department in project planning, estimating, and scheduling for multiple data-center projects. The role partners with the preconstruction team to analyze specifications, gather data, and prepare accurate cost estimates and CPM schedules.

You will lead the team to prepare estimates and proposals, develop scopes of work, and coordinate with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years Commercial Construction Experience required.
• 1+ years Data Center experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office required.
• Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Procore and Bluebeam experience required.
• Ability to read project documentation including blueprints, specs, CPM schedules, submittals.
• Ability to perform onscreen takeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction in project planning and development.
• Analyze specifications, gather data, and assist in cost estimates and schedules.
• Prepare conceptual estimates and budgets from takeoffs.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams for complete estimate packages.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor quotes and prepare cost reports.
• Lead the team to prepare accurate estimates and proposals.
• Develop scopes of work for each trade and review with subs.
