Job summary

T5 Data Centers is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer to support the preconstruction department in project planning, cost estimation and scheduling. You will work closely with the team to analyze specifications, gather data, and prepare accurate estimates and GMP proposals for data center projects.

You will read project documents, coordinate with subcontractors, and assist in presenting compelling bid packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field not specified but related to construction is implied.
• Experience in commercial construction and estimating is implied by responsibilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with multiple estimates and projects concurrently.
• Gather project documents and read drawings to prepare estimates.
• Identify labor, material and time requirements for estimates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and stakeholders during estimate creation.
• Prepare subcontractor bids and bid analyses; assist with bid package distribution.
