Job summary

X4 Engineering in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Preconstruction Manager with 1–2 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating or project engineering to join our growing team focused on data center and mission-critical projects.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to develop detailed estimates, coordinate subcontractors, and help transition preconstruction plans into execution, while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in construction, estimating, preconstruction or project engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related discipline preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction activities from early design through project award.
• Assist with development of detailed project estimates and budgets.
• Review drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Coordinate subcontractor solicitation, scope reviews and bid comparisons.
• Support bid leveling and subcontractor negotiations.
• Help develop project schedules and procurement strategies.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and estimating data.
