Job summary

Hardwood Industries, Inc. is seeking an Order Processor to pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a safety‑conscious warehouse. The role involves forklift operation, material handling, and inventory accuracy within the Epicor system.

You will support production, shipping, and logistics, while maintaining a clean work area and following all PPE requirements. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and moving materials safely.
• Ability to learn and use warehouse management software.
• Strong math skills for inventory calculations.
• Proficient in reading English and following written instructions.
• Familiarity with Epicor and Microsoft Office applications.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage customer orders using SKU and location data.
• Assemble orders with prescribed banding and packaging methods.
• Stage materials for production and shipping to optimize flow.
• Verify order accuracy and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
• Unload trucks and containers and load freight throughout the day.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures.
• Identify inventory by SKU and update POS/MRP system (Epicor).
• Restock materials and protect inventory from damage or loss.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and shipping teams.
