Job summary

Hardwood Industries, Inc. in Sherwood, OR is seeking an Order Processor to pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment in a safety‑focused warehouse.

You will operate forklifts, manage inventory, and support production and shipping teams while maintaining an organized, efficient workspace. The role emphasizes accurate order assembly, adherence to packaging standards, and continuous improvement of safety and processes.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred or ability to become certified.
• Ability to learn warehouse systems and inventory software.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate information in English.
• Proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Office and Epicor.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage customer orders accurately using SKU and location systems.
• Assemble customer orders with prescribed banding and packaging methods.
• Stage materials for production and shipping teams to process orders.
• Verify accuracy of picked orders and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials safely.
• Identify inventory by SKU and map/adjust in the ERP system (Epicor).
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
