Acumed LLC is seeking a Turning Machinist on the 2nd shift in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will set up and operate turning machines to produce precision parts and ensure compliance with SOPs. The role emphasizes quality workmanship and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 1–2 years of related Acumed experience or 3–5 years external experience; completion of Tooling U or machining classes is preferred. U.S. equal opportunity employer.

Formación

• Typically 1–2 years of related Acumed experience or 3–5 years external experience.
• Mastery of Level 1 competencies on Acumed Machinist Career Ladder and Qualifications.
• Ability to read and understand English documentation.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate production machine tools to maintain quality, cost and delivery.
• Set up and run Turning machines, including Lathes and Swiss Lathes.
• Monitor machine performance and detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
• Inspect surfaces for flaws, ensure smooth finish and document results.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep area clean.
• Collaborate with Senior Machinist and Process Engineers to improve cell processes.
