Job summary

Acumed LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a Turning Machinist for the second shift (Mon–Thu 3:00PM–1:30AM). Set up and operate turning tools to produce precision parts; load/unload per SOPs and ensure quality, cost, and delivery.

You will operate Lathes and Swiss Lathes, monitor performance, perform maintenance, and assist in process improvements with Senior Machinist and Engineers. Must read/understand English documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related Acumed experience or 3-5 years external experience.
• Mastery of Level 1 competencies on Acumed Machinist Career Ladder.
• Ability to read and understand documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• Operates turning machines (lathes, Swiss lathes) to produce precision parts.
• Sets up and programs/adjusts machines to ensure quality and tolerance.
• Monitors machine performance and detects malfunctions.
• Performs preventive maintenance and housekeeping of work area.
• Works with Senior Machinist and Process Engineers to improve cell processes.
