Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years related Acumed experience or 3–5 years external experience.
• Completion of Tooling U or machining classes preferred.
• Basic math and reading comprehension for documentation.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to read, understand and complete all documentation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up turning machines to produce precision parts.
• Monitor machines for malfunctions and out-of-tolerance work.
• Visually inspect surfaces for flaws and ensure quality.
• Perform housekeeping and prevent maint tasks as required.
• Assist in mentoring Machinist 1 and collaborating with senior staff.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and perform basic preventive maintenance.
