Job summary

MTM Manufacturing is seeking a mechanically minded assembler to translate customer work orders and drawings into correct assembly steps while ensuring all dimensions and tolerances are met.

You will apply torque methods with wrenches, verify parts with precision instruments, install threaded inserts and fasteners, and operate hydro/vacuum test equipment, documenting results in IDC. Safe, organized work is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship preferred (not required).
• Experience: Not applicable.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer work orders, engineering process routers, and drawings into correct assembly steps and verify dimensions.
• Apply proper torque methods and sequencing with torque wrenches for reliable joints.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify parts and assemblies.
• Install thread inserts, keenserts, and fasteners to specification.
• Operate hydro and vacuum test equipment and document results as per IDC.
