Job summary

Trans-Matic Mfg. Co. is seeking a Metrology Technician to perform inspections and layouts with precision measurement equipment. You will operate CMMs, vision systems, and other inspection tools while reading GD&T blueprints and documenting PPAP inspections.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in quality/metrology, strong data entry and spreadsheet skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality, metrology, or inspection experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong computer, spreadsheet, and data entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and part layouts using precision measurement equipment.
• Operate and maintain CMMs, vision systems, OGP equipment, and other inspection tools.
• Support new product launches and production quality checks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T.
• Complete PPAP documentation and inspection reports.
• Maintain accurate records and quality data.
• Help improve processes and keep the quality lab organized and efficient.
