Job summary

CITY PATTERN AND FOUNDRY COMPANY IN is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician to assemble, fit, test, and inspect precision mechanical and electro-mechanical products. You will interpret engineering drawings, follow procedures, and use specialized equipment to meet tight DoD and commercial requirements.

The role requires a mechanically inclined, detail-oriented professional who can work independently, maintain safe work practices, and document inspections and test results accurately.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components from drawings and BOMs.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic presses, torque tools, and measuring equipment.
• Perform precision fitting, drilling, tapping, reaming, fastening, riveting, bonding, and press-fit operations.
• Install bearings, seals, pins, fasteners, springs, electrical connectors, and other components.
• Perform soldering and basic electrical assembly when required.
• Conduct tests using multimeters, test fixtures, and equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Identify defective parts and suggest process improvements.
• Read and interpret drawings, BOMs, and military specifications.
• Maintain accurate production records and inspection documentation.
