Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Automation Technician focused on smart torque tools to join our Manufacturing Automation team. You will deploy, wire, and integrate automation equipment across production lines and configure torque tooling to exact specifications.

The role requires hands-on experience with Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to train technicians while keeping tooling calibrated to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

2–5+ years of aerospace/auto/electronics manufacturing with precision assembly.
Hands-on configuring and troubleshooting Atlas Copco Power Focus controllers and MicroTorque systems.
Experience setting up workstations and deploying assembly line hardware.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces to install hardware.

Responsibilities

Physically deploy, mount, wire, and integrate automation equipment across production lines.
Program and configure Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems to exact engineering specs.
Diagnose production floor issues, troubleshoot tightening failures, and optimize tightening programs (Psets).
Analyze tightening curves to diagnose torque anomalies and joint issues.
Train manufacturing technicians and operators on safe handling of smart tools.
Maintain tooling health and calibration records to ensure continuous reliability.
