Job summary

Anduril Industries’ Manufacturing Automation team is seeking an Automation Technician focused on smart Torque Tools to join our production facilities.

You will deploy, wire, and integrate Atlas Copco torque tooling, program Power Focus and MicroTorque systems, and diagnose tightening issues on the line.

Experience in aerospace or electronics manufacturing with precision assembly is preferred. You must lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces to install hardware.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics manufacturing with precision assembly systems.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Atlas Copco Power Focus controllers and MicroTorque systems.
• Proven experience setting up workstations, routing cables, and deploying hardware on an assembly line.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to analyze tightening traces and identify failure modes.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces to install hardware.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to export controls.

Responsibilities

• Physically deploy, mount, wire, and integrate automation equipment and torque tools on production lines.
• Program and configure Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems to engineering specs.
• Diagnose production floor issues and optimize tightening programs.
• Analyze tightening curves to identify anomalies and joint relaxation.
• Train technicians and operators on proper handling and safety of smart tools.
• Maintain tooling health and calibration records to minimize downtime.
