Job summary

AIC in Garden Grove, CA, is seeking a Thread Roll Operator to perform light set ups on secondary and fabricating thread rolling machines used to manufacture various fastener products. You will roll external threads and ensure conformance to specifications, operating under safety guidelines and documented procedures.

The role requires reading and writing English, basic shop math, and familiarity with inspection tools and machine tools.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years machining experience.
• Basic knowledge of inspection tools.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Introductory shop math skills.
• Ability to interpret written shop travelers.
• Capable of setting up and running parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, or tend thread rolling machines to roll external threads.
• Ensure dimensions stay within tolerances and adjust tools accordingly.
• Inspect finished parts with gauges, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Follow SOPs, login/logout, and coordinate with supervisor during process.
• Identify parts to travelers and verify prior operations are complete.
• Maintain safe work practices and perform additional duties as assigned.
