Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. is seeking a stamping press operator to produce steel components and oversee manual and automated packaging operations while maintaining tight quality and reporting production data.

• Forklift experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping press and auxiliary equipment with manual and automated packaging processes.
• Meet and/or exceed daily production goals.
• Report machine malfunctions to mechanics or supervisors.
• Assist mechanics to keep press/packaging equipment operational.
• Manually pack steel components into packaging containers.
• Keep product waste to a minimum; inspect finished products and mark steel lot numbers on shipping containers.
• Attend work during scheduled shift; be present, on time, and ready to work.
