Acara Solutions seeks a Soldering Operator in Hatfield, PA, for a 40-hour week on 1st shift. This temporary-to-direct position involves precision hand soldering and assembly of electronic and mechanical components, with strict adherence to drawings and IPC-A-610 quality standards.

You will inspect solder joints, operate microscopes and rework tools, and document production records while maintaining a clean, safe workstation. Prior SMT experience and IPC training are preferred.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of surface-mount soldering experience.
• IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 training preferred; equivalent demonstrated knowledge considered.

Responsabilidades

• Perform precision hand soldering and rework on SMT and through-hole components.
• Assemble and prepare electronic and mechanical components using drawings, BOMs, routing sheets, and work instructions.
• Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality and workmanship per IPC-A-610 standards.
• Use soldering irons, hot-air/rework equipment, microscopes, and hand tools safely.
• Complete production records, traceability, in-process inspections, and report defects promptly.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures; keep workstation clean and organized.
• Contribute to continuous improvement focused on quality, productivity, cost, and delivery.
