Job summary

The role requires magnification work, adherence to IPC standards, and the ability to interpret schematics. Prior soldering experience is preferred; background check and THC screening may apply. U.S. citizenship required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or assembly preferred.
• IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and steady manual dexterity.
• Ability to read schematics and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual soldering of electronic components onto PCBs and assemblies.
• Inspect solder joints for defects such as cold joints, bridging, and insufficient solder.
• Follow IPC-A-610 and/or J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Perform rework and touch-up of defective solder joints.
• Utilize magnification tools and microscopes for fine-pitch soldering work.
• Maintain soldering equipment, including tip cleaning and replacement.
• Follow ESD-safe handling procedures for sensitive electronic components.
• Complete quality documentation and traceability records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
