Job summary

Paradigm Information Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Soldering Technician to assemble, modify, inspect, and rework electronic products to IPC and company quality standards.

The role involves hand soldering on through-hole and surface-mount components, PCB modifications, and supporting mechanical and production assembly activities. The ideal candidate has hands-on soldering experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow drawings and instructions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on soldering experience and production environment exposure.
• Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronics per drawings and work instructions.
• Solder through-hole and surface-mount components by hand.
• Modify PCBs, wire/jumper-wire installations, and trace cutting.
• Perform mechanical assembly from orders and drawings.
• Read Fusion and FactoryLogix documentation.
• Prepare and stuff PCBs, assist with selective solder operations.
• Operate inline and batch washers as directed.
• Operate board heaters and depanel assemblies.
• Handle epoxy, RTV, and potting tasks per docs.
• Inspect own work and others per IPC-A-610 standards.
• Track job status with Manufacturing Execution System.
• Obtain and maintain IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, IPC-7711).
